Casually Crafting Blog Hop – Appreciation

Welcome to our monthly Casually Crafting Blog Hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators, who would like to share our projects with you. We love cards that are simple and easy to make with just a few products, these would ideally suit beginner and casual crafter. We will be sharing our ideas on the 3rd Friday of each month and you can hop around the group and gather loads of inspiration. This months theme is Appreciation, for this project I have used the Painted Poppies

Last month was a particularly sad month for me, my close friend and downline – Leo – passed away suddenly, unexpectedly, and long before her ‘time’. I am dedicating this months project to her.

Painted Poppies

Is a perfect set for any occasion, it has a coordinating dies (Painted Labels) and a second coordination set and dies as part of the suite (Peaceful Moments and Poppy Moments Dies).

The Peaceful Poppies Suite also includes beautiful DSP, some of which can be seen as backgrounds here (the lyrics are from Jealous of the Angels by Jenn Bostic, no sound).

I have used one of the sentiments from Timeless Tulips as I felt this perfect for Leo.

Here are the cards.

Beautiful cards. I love the sentiment.

  3. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Hilary, so difficult especially in one so young. I had a similar loss this month with mu friend Mairaid who passed at 43

You projects are a beautiful way to remember her, especially when she was a crafter too! X
