Gumball Machine using Still Scenes

Stampin Up Still Scenes Gumball

Today I am featuring a sneak peak of the Still Scenes bundle in the 2019-2020 Holiday Catalogue. But instead of a Christmas project I have used the bundle to produce a fully functioning and loadable Gumball machine. It works using mini smarties (or equivalent small sweets), and the sweets can be provided separately – wrapped, for hygiene considerations.

The machine is ‘fed’ with smarties from the top and these are shaken into the dome to load the machine.  Once loaded the ‘twist tap’ on the front is turned to release a sweet from the dome area into the delivery cup.  The video below shows this process in action.

I used the lovely See A Silhouette DSP as the background layer, but any suitable DSP could be used.

If you look back later I will provide more information on how to create this project yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Supplies

Stampin’ Up! products used in my projects can be purchased by clicking ‘Online Shop’ in the menu or the sidebar banner to be taken to my online shop, where all current Stampin’ Up! products are available to purchase 24/7. If a project product list is available below, clicking on the product you are interested in will take you to that product in my online shop where it can be added to your shopping basket.

You will also need a die cutting machine for this project. I used my retired 1 3/4 inch punch instead of the smallest die in the Layering Circles Dies.
