Slider Card – Swaps (Aug 2015)
August training swaps (and subsequent November demonstration).
I stayed with the slider card theme (from July) for my August training swaps, this time a double slider card, the secret of which is a strong / flexible piece of plastic (a section of a ziploc bag is perfect), a tutorial for this can be found below.
I also stayed with the Bohemian colour scheme, using the a selection of the Bohemian cardstock assortment and Designer Series Paper; the outers were produced from a variety of the cardstock (Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay or Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry is used in this post), and were decorated with circles from the other colours of the co-ordinating card. The initial, die cut using the Little Letters Thinlits Die, for each (swapping) attendee was added to one of the circles on the front, along with a band of Bohemian Designer Washi Tape.
The Celebrate Today image and sentiments were stamped with co-ordinating inks (Rich Razzleberry & Blackberry Bliss, as in this post; Bermuda Bay & Island Indigo; or So Saffron & Delightful Dijon), and layered onto the Bohemian DSP to produce the sliding sections.
A ribbon in Whisper White Seam Binding was added to facilitate the pull mechanism.
Stampin’ Up! products used in my projects can be purchased in my online shop.
